Paid internship offer: Interaction design

Job Description:
Experientia, an international experience design consultancy based in Turin, Italy, is looking for an excellent interaction designer. We focus on research driven interaction design. We specialized over the years on interaction design, experience prototyping, information visualization and designing to affect behaviors.
Currently we are starting a beautiful project for Helsinki – designing smart demand management solutions to enable people to save energy. The project is called Low2No and is a joint project with Arup engineering (the engineers who worked on the Sydney Opera house to the Beijing Bird house olympic stadium to engineering Masdar city), Sauerbruch Hutton architects (who design beautiful energy efficient buildings like the German environmental department and museums etc) and us. We will design and build by 2012 a district in Helsinki Harbor to the highest energy efficient demands. Our task is very specific: using design to support behavioral change. Now we will make these ideas a reality and design the solutions in the next 9 month.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Outstanding visual design skills, methodical thinking, fascination with typography or information visualization, prior interface design experience is a plus. Interest in design for mobile applications or social software is an advantage. Independent and collaborative work abilities are expected. The internship lasts from 3 to 6 month and is paid. Accommodation is provided. Office language is english, Italian or German secondary. Interested?
