CALL for POSTERS and DEMOS, IMPORTANT DATES:
——————————————–

Proposal submission deadline: 8 PM EST, February 5 2010.
Proposal acceptance notification: February 12 2010.

DETAILS:
——–

ICCP 2010 seeks to provide a strong platform for showcasing exciting work
in fields related to computational photography from both academia and
industry. To this end, this year the conference will feature sessions for
poster and demo presentations in addition to the usual technical talks.

* Presentations may be based on speculative and exploratory research,
or may describe prototypes/commercial systems, or may describe recent
publications at related venues (SPIE, SIGGRAPH, ICCV, CVPR, Applied
Optics, JOSA, PAMI, etc.).

* Presentations may describe work ranging from complete hardware or
optical systems to tools for intelligent processing of photographic
data.

* Video and live demonstrations of prototypes from industry alongside
the posters are encouraged.

* We also encourage recent PhD graduates and PhD students who are close
to graduating to submit posters highlighting accomplishments of their
theses.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:
—————

* Prospective presenters must submit a short proposal by the due date.
Proposals should include author names, a brief description of the
problem being addressed, the work’s contributions and main results,
and whether any videos or demos will be shown.

* If the proposal is based on a single, previously-published paper, an
electronic copy of the paper can be submitted in lieu of the above.

* Links to websites describing the work, and/or links to videos and
demos are highly encouraged.

Email proposals (PDF or DOC) directly to the Posters/Demos Chair
(Srinivasa Narasimhan, srinivas@cs.cmu.edu).
