I am glad to present 28 wonderful projects from some of the students that made part of this academic project developed in the course SURFACE DESIGN of the School of Architecture and Design at UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES in BOGOTA.
This projects research on the possibilities of TEXTILE INNOVATION . They are based on high experimentation of soft materials to develop scenarios for the configuration of interior spaces. Explore textiles from traditional techniques and materials to new ones, to discover scenarios for a domestic, soft and emotional design. An extensive design research an experimentation is translate on a collection of objects based on the concepts of DOMESTICITY and TEXTILE ATMOSPHERES to allow the students to improve their skills on concept development, aesthetic and design development, material experimentation and textile finishes.
