Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Portfolio Night 7 is now in the history books!

• 20 cities and all continents, including all-new locations Lisbon, Beijing, Dubai, Beirut, Tunis and Kuala Lumpur

• nearly 600 creative directors

• over 1,800 aspiring creatives

The work behind Portfolio Night 7 didn’t end with the final whistle in New York City on June 16th. We still had to gather all the videos and photos from the various cities around the world. We’re honored to present you with the official PN7 event videos: http://portfolionight.com/7/vids-pics/pn7-event-videos

Click here to view the PN7 event photos: http://portfolionight.com/7/vids-pics/event-photos

There are still a few more coming from a few locales, but we hope this gives you all a little taste of what it was like to be in each of the 20 cities around the world that made Portfolio Night 7 a reality.

We’d like to thank everybody involved in Portfolio Night this year. A huge thank you is in order to our global partners, Ogilvy (http://www.ogilvy.com) and Corbis (http://www.corbis.com), for believing in our mission to celebrate and support the next generation of advertising creatives. We’d like to thank the hosts in each city; without your hard work, PN7 would not have happened. Thanks to the local sponsors for stepping up to the plate and getting involved in your city. Thanks to the creative directors for taking the time out of your schedules to participate. And a massive, gigantic thank-you to the young creatives who attended. We did this all for you!

So what next? Well the ihaveanidea team has been working on the brand new ihaveanidea site (http://www.ihaveanidea.org) and in the next few weeks we’ll begin work on Portfolio Night 8. Mark Thursday, May 13th, 2010 on your calendars. It’s gonna be big.

For any inquiries about PN8, including bringing the event to your city for the first time ever, please contact Stephanie Pellicer, ihaveanidea Events Director at stephanie@ihaveanidea.org
