Esta convocatoria esta abierta a los estudiantes, egresados y profesores del Departamento
de Diseño de la Universidad de Los Andes.

DESCRIPCION DEL WORKSHOP
El workshop tiene como tema central los textiles y la arquitectura, esto visto desde los
espacios privados, es decir la casa y lo que en ella se lleva a cabo que es la domesticidad.


Objetivos

Mapear diferentes aproximaciones estéticas y comportamentales alrededor del concepto DOMESTICIDAD en la ciudad de Bogota, para ser convertidos en conceptos como punto de partida para entender los espacios domésticos Latinoamericanos.

Descubrir la importancia del rol de los textiles en la conformación de los ambientes,especialmente en la manera como estos pueden ser el punto de partida para proponer experiencias afectivas y poéticas en los espacios interiores y exteriores como una manera de mejor la calidad de vida en los espacios.

Prototipar escenarios para mostrar todos los conceptos desarrollados desde el entendimiento de los textiles, los espacios y la domesticidad en Bogota.

MODELOS PASARELA UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES

Se estan buscando 20 modelos mujeres y 9 modelos niñas (entre 5 y 7 años) para la pasarela de la Universidad de Los Andes en el Circulo de la Moda.

CONDICIONES

No es necesario tener experiencia como modelo.

La convocatoria es abierta a todas las personas,no es necesario ser miembro de la comunidad uniandina.

Los interesados deben tener disponibilidad para2 ensayos generales y pruebas de vestuario los dias sabado 6 y sabado 13 defebrero de 2010 a las 10am en la Univerisidad.

Los interesados deben estar disponibles desdelas 7am y hasta las 3pm el día del desfile, que se llevara a cabo en Corferiasel 17 de febrero.

El día del casting deben venir sin maquillaje.

Proposal submission deadline: 8 PM EST, February 5 2010.
Proposal acceptance notification: February 12 2010.

ICCP 2010 seeks to provide a strong platform for showcasing exciting work
in fields related to computational photography from both academia and
industry. To this end, this year the conference will feature sessions for
poster and demo presentations in addition to the usual technical talks.

* Presentations may be based on speculative and exploratory research,
or may describe prototypes/commercial systems, or may describe recent
publications at related venues (SPIE, SIGGRAPH, ICCV, CVPR, Applied
Optics, JOSA, PAMI, etc.).

* Presentations may describe work ranging from complete hardware or
optical systems to tools for intelligent processing of photographic
data.

* Video and live demonstrations of prototypes from industry alongside
the posters are encouraged.

* We also encourage recent PhD graduates and PhD students who are close
to graduating to submit posters highlighting accomplishments of their
theses.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:

* Prospective presenters must submit a short proposal by the due date.
Proposals should include author names, a brief description of the
problem being addressed, the work’s contributions and main results,
and whether any videos or demos will be shown.

* If the proposal is based on a single, previously-published paper, an
electronic copy of the paper can be submitted in lieu of the above.

* Links to websites describing the work, and/or links to videos and
demos are highly encouraged.

The online application system for both calls will open on Mon 4 Jan.

The deadlines for Pixelache Helsinki 2010 call are Wed 20 Jan and Mon 22 Feb. The proposals we receive before the first deadline will have a higher priority in the programme. We will be going through the applications and making decisions about the programme on a regular basis.

The deadline for Pixelache Helsinki 2011 call is Mon 15 Apr.

Invitation to enter the 5th ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival

For the 5th time, the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin and interfilm Berlin are inviting entries for this competition to choose the best poetry films!

Entries should be short films based on one or more poems. A programme commission will decide which of the films entered will be featured in the competition or shown in the programme as part of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival from 14 –17 October 2010 in Berlin in the Babylon Cinema. An international jury will decide the winners. The prizes awarded will be the ZEBRA Award for the Best Poetry Film, the Film Poetry Award of the Goethe Institute and the Ritter Sport Award, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG, to a total value of € 10,000. The deadline for entries is 14 June 2010 (full conditions of entry can be found at www.literaturwerkstatt.org). The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival has established itself as an international forum for short films that deal with the content, aesthetics or form of poems. It offers filmmakers and poets from around the world the opportunity to exchange ideas and define positions.

The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is a cooperation project between the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin and interfilm Berlin and is kindly supported by the Capital Cultural Fund, the Goethe Institute, Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH. It takes place as part of the poesiefestival berlin.
